SCHOOL DISCIPLINE                ANTI-BULLYING POLICY

    1. Definition: Behavioral Discipline refers to the desired and/or expected norms of conduct of students and the corresponding administrative sanctions for violation thereof, as set forth in the duly approved and promulgated rules and regulations.

 

  1. Purpose: Viewed within the context of the school, discipline embraces everything that controls and molds the character of a student to conduct himself/herself, evaluate situations and react to them in accordance with Christian principles. The school’s rules and regulations on discipline aim at creating the following desirable attitudes among Notre Damers:
    1. Respect for proper authority as ultimately coming from God;
    2. Respect for themselves and others based on the dignity and value of a human person created in the image of God;
    3. Respect for learning and truth which is the perfecting of their God-given nature and talent, and
    4. Respect for their school as a place dedicated to learning.
